CREATION OF THE COMPANY PAILLASSE MARKETING SA “Pain Paillasse” is officially available in three varieties: Light, Dark and Rustick. More than 50 bakers in Switzerland are won over and adopt the “Pain Paillasse” concept.

“PAIN PAILLASSE” IS SOLD IN ITALY, NORWAY, THE NETHERLANDS, SWEDEN, LUXEMBOURG, BELGIUM AND DENMARK. 50 other bakers in turn become Paillasse franchisees.

“PAIN PAILLASSE” CONTINUES ITS INTERNATIONAL JOURNEY Following expansion to Austria and France, “Pain Paillasse” can now be found in more than 800 sales outlets. Laurianne Gilliéron, Miss Switzerland 2005, lends her image to a commercial and various Paillasse advertisements. Hungary joins the circle of Paillasse franchisees.

LOLITA MORENA, A MODEL AND TV PRESENTER, BECOMES THE AMBASSADOR OF PAIN PAILLASSE FOR 2 YEARS. CREATION OF PAIN PAILLASSE PURESPELT, WHICH SUPPLEMENTS THE BASIC RANGES. Romania and Slovakia join the Paillasse family.
The F1 driver Sébastien Buemi is the Paillasse ambassador until 2014.

A MAJOR PARTNER McDonald’s, the fast food giant, decides to make its Beef Deluxe and McRomandie products in Switzerland with Pain Paillasse. Pain Paillasse is awarded a medal at the Swiss Bakery Trophy during the Salon des Goûts et Terroirs in Bulle.
